Yan Huang asked:

The responsibility of school health education is to provide the complete positive experience and the knowledge structure to the student, including the establishment of health education curriculum, the creation of school health environment and carrying out the appropriate school health education plan through principal, teacher, guardian and the broad cooperation which leads in the community.

The significance of school health education:

Health is one of the main factors which affect young students’ learning capability. So the government has the responsibility to provide the best study conditions. This goal can be achieved by school health education. The school health education program can systematically organize all the factors that promote young people’s health.

The significance of school health education is: Young students are in the life preparation time, health education work, may help them to accept systematic health education since childhood. It will be very helpful for young people to establish a healthy life style, strengthen the self-health care consciousness and ability, prevent common disease, frequently-occurring disease, and even adult sickness. School health education builds the good foundation for their life and the effect is lifelong.

The implementation scope of school health education:

School health education is not only limited to the health education curriculum but also through many kinds of health education in young people’s daily study and the life such as food security, nutrition, smoking control, personal hygiene and so on.

The teaching of school health education:

Health education should be a part of the entire school education system.

1) The health education curriculum: young students may start their health habit since the baby time. But they usually obtain the systematic medicine and health knowledge in school. So the school health education curriculum should be the main way for students to obtain this kind of knowledge.

There is huge difference in receptivity and thinking mode among the young students of different ages. So the goal, content, teaching style and materials of health education curriculum should be accordant of the characteristics of different age sections. Because our work is to help student to be active learning not non-passive learning.

Healthy behavior instruction:

The goal of healthy behavior instruction is to help the students to have the basic healthcare knowledge and to command the basic skills of self-healthcare. Health behavior instruction helps students to develop a faith of health and medicine, correct judge and the appraisal ability and healthy behavior. Good behavior may affect not only the individual but also the family and the society.

There are two ways of healthy behavior instruction: Collective activity and individual consultation. Collective activity aims at the existing behavior question among students. Individual consultation helps each individual student who has special health behavior or medical care questions.

The school health service:

School health service is directly related to students’ health activities. It is also the essential part of the entire school health plan. The school health service mainly includes: medical examination, dental examination, immunity vaccination, infectious disease control, common disease prevention and the psychological consultation as well. The school should also provide the necessary services to the disabled students.

The school health environment:

School health environment stimulates and promotes the student to participate in the beneficial health activities, raises their health consciousness of the external environment, including interpersonal and material environment.

The interpersonal environment mainly includes the school interpersonal relationship between the teachers and students, schoolmate and the other personnel.

The material environment is related to the school constructions, the ground size, the drainage, the garbage disposal system and so on.

How to provide a harmonious and healthy environment to all the students should be considered by all the school health educators.

Adam Hefner asked:

Sauna users report a multitude of health benefits. Regularly using a sauna can result in better health, clearer skin, weight loss, improved circulation, and enhanced mood. The health benefits sauna users enjoy can be achieved with daily sessions lasting between 20 and 40 minutes.

Saunas have been venerated for years as natural sources of healing and holistic therapy. Most popular health spas and fitness clubs offer saunas to their customers. People love to manage their health in this way. Sauna use is recorded as early as the 18th century in Finland, and similar forms of Finnish sweat baths were probably in existence long before that. Saunas are so popular because they induce perspiration in a completely safe, natural way to provide numerous health benefits.

The biggest health benefit of the sauna is detoxification. Sweating is one of the body’s natural methods of shedding toxins and excess materials like nickel, lead, copper, sodium, and aluminum. Inducing perspiration through a sauna session is speeding up the process and aiding the body’s detoxification process. The unnatural preservatives in the food we eat and the polluted air we take into our lungs both get circulated around our bodies in the bloodstream. Sauna use can help us rid our bodies of those substances and chemicals.

Hot saunas also do good for our skin. Everyone knows that heat opens up our pores’ that is why we should always wash our faces with warm water instead of cold. In a similar vein, the heat of a sauna opens up clogged pores and allows for the release of grime, dirt, bacteria, and makeup residue. Skin looks visibly different after all these substances have been released from pores.

Weight loss is another benefit associated with sauna use. Sweating is a form of work for the body, and it uses up calories. An average of 200 to 500 calories can be burned in one sauna session. Sometimes the reason people can’t lose weight is because of built-up toxic chemicals in the body, but the regular detoxification action of a sauna often leads to weight loss. Sauna use is the only safe way to lose weight without exercise, so if a health condition makes someone unable to do much physical activity then a sauna is a great way for them to get in good cardiovascular condition.

Sauna use also increases circulation, which leads to future weight loss and numerous other health benefits. Better circulation means lower blood pressure and less risk of developing heart disease and similar disorders down the road. Since blood travels the body faster, open wounds and cuts heal faster and the incidence of scarring is reduced.

Sauna therapy also provides mental health benefits in addition to physical health benefits. Relaxing in a warm sauna is rejuvenating and mentally refreshing. It puts users in a better mood. In fact, many physicians and therapists often recommend sauna therapy for conditions like mild depression, fatigue, and mental fogginess. People with high stress levels will feel calmer after a sauna session. Knotted muscles will relax from the heat, and sitting in a sauna for 20 minutes while reading or listening to soothing music might be a welcome break for many individuals.

This article has hopefully given some insight on the numerous health benefits sauna has in store for people. Sauna is really a holistic method of managing overall mental and physical health. Users report tangible benefits after regularly using sauna therapy, and science is now confirming what cultures all around the world have known for hundreds of years. Sauna use is tremendously beneficial for treating all sorts of ailments and promoting general health.

Regular health screening is the only reliable way to screen all vital systems to either diagnose the diseases in their infancy and treat them early or assess the vulnerability and susceptibility of the body to save it from attacks of various diseases.

Today’s lifestyle of an individual invariably leads to long-term damage to health. Keeping “Health is Wealth” and “Health is Wealth” in mind, MMH offers one of the most comprehensive preventive health care packages for early detection of lifestyle diseases. The health assessment program of MMH aims a “Healthier Society” to protect and preserve good health, to promote improved human health, to prevent ill health and to facilitate early diagnosis and treatment of illness.

Our health assessment program is true to its name. It checks you and your lifestyle assessing it to the risk of silent killer diseases – Diabetes, Heart Diseases & Respiratory Diseases. Health Assessment is designed to give you an idea how your current lifestyle may be affecting your health and well-being. The reports generated after completing the assessment tell you your personal risk for diseases such as Diabetes, Hypertension and Cardiovascular diseases. It provides you with an insight of what these diseases are and how they affect your body. It also provides you with health behavior targets you should set for yourself to reduce your risk and improve your overall health.

We encourage you to under go this Health Assessment at least twice a year to keep a close tab on your current Health and Lifestyle. We also encourage you to use these reports as a starting point for conversations with your health professional, family members, or other health and well-being partner about changes you might make in lifestyle habits to improve your overall health.

PaulSymonds asked:

There had been queries going on by the World Health Organization (WHO) regarding artificial electromagnetic fields (EMF). Certain instances brought into picture the results of what exposures to them could mean and this century’s radiations are definitely greater than that before. Commercialization made EMF a widespread phenomenon; not that they were ignorant to their possible adverse effects on human health.

By and large, it has been taken care of by a great deal, but not entirely. It is currently a public health concern and WHO has stepped forward (International EMF Project). Scientific evidences are being gathered in the frequency ranges (0 to 300 GHz) and the possible effects of EMF on health don’t seem stellar. To fight back, WHO is on a quest for EMF exposure standards that could be acceptable internationally.

We must catch some frequency here. From extremely low frequency (ELF; power lines for example; between 0 and 300 Hz) to the higher ranges (RF; 10 MHz – 300 GHz), there come quite a few things within. Microwave ovens and radio-transmission devices, fall under the high frequencies; that include mobile phones. There is also a middle band present – the intermediate frequency (IF) region in the EMF spectrum (300 Hz – 10 MHz.) that has been found less harmful than the RF. The studies are to end yet, regarding minimizing that even further.

Frequencies are emitted by thermal and non-thermal mechanisms alike; the resulting electric and electromagnetic fields interacting with our biological systems; some of them in the lowest thresholds of exposure tolerances. Even the upper IF range contributes to the thermal damage requiring tissue to be maintained temporarily at higher temperatures. Membrane excitation results from non-thermal mechanisms (e.g. electricity), resulting in changes in membrane potential and thus, a stimulation of peripheral nerves and muscle cells. An irreversible (mostly) symptom is electroporation, which disrupts cell membranes under excessive electrical potentials and provoke tissue injury. It’s a different story that controlled dosages are medically helpful.

However, there are measures that have been found useful in fighting the frequency battles; it’s a fight fire with fire situation. Sounds, colors and lights – when used appropriately, may set these reactions back half-a-way or beyond. All these are different forms of frequencies that act upon the hormonal systems, the neurotransmitters and in a broader sense, on the brain’s chemistry and helps healing of conditions like headaches, tinnitus (ringing/booming sensation in ear(s), fatigue, nausea, stress, poor concentration, sleep disorder, burning sensations and even skin conditions and rashes.

All of the above are caused by an improper cell functioning, which in the long run affects the blood and organ functions. The malfunction results from a reduction in the cells’ permeability, making it difficult to let nutrients in and the toxins out. It increases free radicals as well and instead of water and carbon dioxide, the body starts producing hydrogen peroxide and carbon monoxide and fermenting the cells within a short while. On longer runs, DNA damage and interference in DNA repair then puts the body under state of chronic stress. It’s only a counter frequency that can fight such situations.

Yan Huang asked:

The community health education is an important part of community health work. It teaches people to establish a healthy life style, to take advantage of health knowledge in order to keep a good way of diet, exercise and so on, and to take the effective measures to prevent and treat disease early. This article will share some problems and countermeasures in community health education work that I have faced.

Community patient has the seasonal characteristic because of the climate changes. Patients have difference in the cause of disease, health conditions and the prognosis. They are also quite different in sex, age, occupation, cultural custom and the expectation of the treatment. To grasp and deal with all these characteristics comprehensively, we need to establish the community health files in order to have more details of every patient. This kind of work is difficult, stressful and sometimes is not understood by the patients and their family members. Community health educators should fully take advantages of media and other tools to promote so that more people can have a basic understanding of it. And with the support and coordination of local government, this work will become easier.

The time for outpatients is usually short, so they often cannot obtain a comprehensive and accurate understanding of the disease they have. So it will be very necessary to give education especially to those patients who have epidemic and infectious disease. The content must be succinct, easy to understand and has the strength and persuasion.

Feedbacks from the patients are very important to community health education work. We can use all kinds of methods such as telephone, network system and face-to-face talking to communicate with patients in order to know their medication and recovery situation. Based on that, it will be easier for us to give further health education and psychological counseling in order to enhance the efficiency of the treatment.

The method of community health education is various, its ultimate objectives are— to popularize basic health knowledge and to help people to establish a healthy behavior. Community health educators should take most persuasive and effective education methods and countermeasures to give patients both physiological and psychological health instructions.

What we are hoping is to establish a healthy and harmonious community.

loredalestacey asked:

Many may be surprised to know that there are quite a few health benefits associated with ***. Some of the more popular ones include stress relief, calorie reduction, reduction of pain, improvement of cardiovascular health and improvement of self-esteem. All of these mental and physical health factors are wonderful things for individuals to acquire. Seeing that they can all be accomplished through sexual activity it is no wonder that many engage in *** not just for pleasure but for beneficial health results as well. There are many reasons why individuals who are sexually active should engage in *** not only for pleasure but for health benefits also.

One reason to take advantage of *** in order to accomplish these aforementioned health-related benefits is that it is an easy way to get a few things accomplished via one activity. Many people are interested in multi-tasking these days and this type of activity can serve this purpose as well. Since many people who are sexually active will be having *** in the first place, it makes sense to accomplish achieving pleasure and curing various mental and physical issues at the same time. The convenience factor is one reason to have *** in order to benefit from various health benefits.

Another reason to have *** in order to receive health-related benefits as well is due to the fact that it is an inexpensive way to achieve healthy results. For many different health issues one would have to spend extra money on medications and other items in order to relieve their pain. However, with using *** as a cure, whether temporary or otherwise, for various health-related issues you are able to find a natural, inexpensive remedy to your health problems in many cases. This provides another great reason to use *** as an aid with regard to health-related problems.

In addition, *** is a natural remedy. By having sexual *********** you are finding a natural way to remedy what ails you, especially if you were planning on having *** in the first place. For those who do not like to take medications and prefer natural remedies for stress and other types of issues, acquiring the health benefits associated with *** is a great way to achieve this goal.

Lastly, there really is no harm in trying to cure various health-related issues through the simple act of ***. So long as you follow the directions provided by your doctor and are taking other necessary steps in order to help you with your health-related issues, trying the sexual *********** method of cure might just be a good plan. This in addition to doctor-prescribed remedies may be the best way to achieve health benefits associated with *** and provide enjoyment for the parties involved in the act.

Frank Graff asked:

Research Triangle Park, N.C. - BioSignia’s literature-based, disease-specific health risk assessment tool continues to deliver promising results in two of the key goals in health reform: improved patient care and reduced health-care costs. Know Your Number (KYN) is the first multi-dimensional risk assessment tool to assess an individual’s risk of developing major chronic preventable diseases such as diabetes and heart disease, as well as showing what steps can be taken to reduce the risk.

“Know Your Number helped turn the doctor-patient relationship into a team approach where I become the coach,” says Dr. David Michael, a North Carolina M.D. in internal medicine who uses Know Your Number in his clinical practice. “That improved communication helps patients take charge of their health by focusing on preventing problems, which means I can provide better health care and patients can save money because they are healthier.”

New polls show Americans overwhelmingly rank disease prevention as the most important health care reform priority. Data from wellness programs using Know Your Number show the value of disease prevention:

• Employees with the State of North Carolina reduced medical expenses between 5%-16% using KYN.

• BankPlus, a financial services corporation documented a 5-year return on investment of $3 saved for every dollar spent on an employee wellness program using KYN.

• A Cumberland County, NC wellness program using KYN found employees could save $500/person/year through reductions of 10%-20% in diabetes, stroke, heart disease.

• The CDC estimates 70% of healthcare spending in the U.S. (nearly $2 trillion) is associated with preventable diseases.

“By using Know Your Number and focusing on disease prevention, we move from a sick care industry to a health care industry,” says Dr. Tim Smith, president and COO of BioSignia. “KYN’s one page report graphically tells you who is at risk for chronic diseases and what diseases they may face in the future, as well as how much risk of disease there is and how much of that risk is modifiable before the condition turns into a crisis.”

After more than a year of using the Know Your Number report as an assessment tool and benchmark to show a patient’s progress, Dr. Michael calls KYN invaluable for several reasons:

• It uses objective data already collected during a physical.

• It assesses current level and potential improvement.

• It brings preventive care and a patient’s ability to change into the discussion.

“Patient’s are now seeing tangible results from being engaged in their healthcare” adds Dr. Michael. “They are feeling better and saving money.”

Jim Brown asked:

Various health concerns that women have must be dealt with in a certain way. Should a woman develop a yeast infection, there are certain over the counter treatments available that will make the health issue go away in as little as three days. Sexually active women however, might have to share this issue with their partner because men can develop yeast infections from sexual contact with their mate and the remedy may require antibiotics be applied for several weeks.

Some women are concerned about smells during menstrual cycles. The women will attempt to mask these smells by using feminine hygiene sprays and vaginal inserts and not have any concerns about their reproductive health. Women are equipped with reproduction organs that rely on certain ph balances to be maintained inside the cervix and uterus. Alleviating smells through unnatural methods such as chemical sprays can change the natural balance inside a woman. This unhealthy alteration to the chemical elements inside the uterus could cause miscarriages to occur.

Many women will develop health concerns after performing ****** exams a while. A white milky discharge coming from the ****** might alert some women to being pregnant. Other women, who have gotten familiar with the way their ******* react to cold and stimulation of many types, will consider it a health concern that requires the attention of a physician because they will naturally know that something is not right. Minor bumps will be noticed at once to be foreign substances that need to be managed in a doctor’s office on the next available appointment.

The health concerns that a young woman might encounter will deal mainly with the regularity of her menstrual cycle. Some young women are curious about the severity of the flow and others are concerned about wearing pads out in public. The health concerns from television might make them avoid wearing tampons because of the fear of those personal products causing toxic shock syndrome. After young women learn about this fear, then the health concerns will diminish substantially.

A family’s medical history might be the source for women’s health concerns. Those that have a history of heart disease are justified in being concerned about their health because heart disease is the killer of many more women than men. To build healthy hearts, women might make changes to the family diet and ensure that everyone at home participates in an exercise that is fun. Women control many areas in the home and controlling health issues is one of the most common chores.

Women have concerns for growing old and after bringing those concerns out in the open they learn from health groups, medical journals and visits to the local health food store that there are many ways to build a better body. Many health care forums will feature articles about taking vitamins and supplements to build strong bones to avoid bone diseases like osteoporosis and arthritis. Others will focus a woman’s attention on healthy living alternatives like maintaining beauty through non-surgical procedures and being content to enjoy life just as they are.

David Cassell asked:

in health administration is a great entry into the health care industry. This industry is the fastest growing one in America and accordingly, there is a huge demand for health management professionals.

A health care administration degree will prepare you to manage various organizations within the health care industry.

As a graduate, you could find yourself working in places like hospitals, public health departments, Medicaid and rehabilitation centers. You’ll have the tools to improve the systems within these organizations, so that patient needs are served more efficiently.

The curriculum for a degree in health administration will give provide you with the fundamentals of a business degree but show you how to apply them to the health care industry.

You’ll be doing courses in epidemiology, ethics, financial management, human resource management, IT and statistics to name a few. This broad approach is necessary because many health care managers have to liaison with the accounting, financial and logistics departments.

At the end of doing your health administration degree, you’ll have a thorough understanding of critical health care issues and how to evaluate the deficiencies within the system.

A bachelors degree will prepare you for entry level management positions, where you’ll gain vital experience in the workings of your department.

If you plan on doing a masters degree in health administration (MHA), the experience you gained before may prove beneficial. This is because some MHA programs require that candidates have prior experience in the health care industry.

The masters program is designed for those who want to enter upper management roles. The CEO of a hospital is the kind of position that an experienced MHA holder could fill.

Whilst its fresh in your mind, now is the time to find a suitable college in which you can enroll for this program.

Previously, it was only available on campus. Now, with the rapid development in the e-learning industry, most online universities offer you the chance to do the undergraduate and postgraduate programs via distance education.

This is especially useful if you are busy with your family or your job and therefore lack the time to attend a traditional university.

An online degree allows you the opportunity to study anywhere you have an internet connection and at your own pace.

Whether you decide to do the program online or on campus, it is important that it be accredited. Nothing more useless than an unaccredited degree.

If you have a strong sense of social responsibility but still want a financially rewarding career with strong prospects for promotion, an online health administration degree is your answer.
